This notice is to inform you that you are sharing your personal information with Hero Housing Finance Limited ("we" or "HHFL"), for the purposes of providing assisted home-buying and/or assisted home selling support/services such information will be shared with Verified Partner for providing you such support/services. Pursuant to this, HHFL may also offer financing services for your home.

We will only collect the following personal information:
- Name
- Phone number
This information will be used for the following purposes:
- To connect you with a verified partner.
- HHFL, its employees, agents may contact you through electronic means or by phone to facilitate communication with the partner and to provide relevant property information
Additionally, we may use this information to provide you with financial assistance if you choose the housing finance option.
Your personal data will be stored and processed strictly in compliance with applicable laws, including the DPDPA (Digital Personal Data Protection Act) and other relevant privacy laws.
3. Data Retention
We will not retain or store your personal information for longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, except where required by applicable law or regulation. After this period, your personal data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with data protection laws.
4. Your Rights
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time, in writing, by emailing us at customer.care@herohfl.com.
- Right to Correction of Information: You may review, correct, or update your personal information by contacting us at customer.care@herohfl.com.
- Right to Nominate: You may have the right to nominate any individual who shall, in the event of death or incapacity of the customer shall exercise the rights of the customer by emailing us at customer.care@herohfl.com.

1. Purpose
This privacy notice explains how Hero Housing Finance Limited ("HHFL", "we", or "us") collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects your personal data when you choose to avail optional ancillary Value‑Added Services ("VAS") namely property legal verification, interior design and Vastu advisory services, through the HomeVerse Platform. When you express interest in availing any VAS, HHFL will collect certain personal data from you; and with your explicit consent, HHFL will share your personal data with a third-party VAS Vendor, solely for the purpose of enabling such VAS. HHFL does not provide VAS itself; all VAS are delivered independently by third‑party VAS Vendors.
2. Categories of Personal Data Collection and its Purpose of Use
We will only collect the following basic personal data required for lead‑sharing and service facilitation:
- Name
- Phone number
Additional optional fields may be collected only if required for the specific VAS (e.g., property address, document copies) and only with your explicit consent at the time of collection.
HHFL will use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To connect you with a third-party VAS Vendor for the VAS you choose.
- To contact you, through electronic means or by phone, to facilitate coordination, confirm service selection, share lead details with the VAS Vendor, or provide status updates where necessary.
- To share your personal data with the VAS Vendor, strictly for fulfilment of the VAS or with government / regulatory authorities, only when required by law, pursuant to a lawful request.
All data processing will be carried out strictly in compliance with applicable laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) and other relevant privacy regulations.
3. Data Retention
Your personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in this notice; meet legal or regulatory retention requirements; or maintain records required for audits, compliance, or dispute resolution. After the retention period ends, your data will be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable law.
4. Your Rights
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

5. Independent Responsibility of VAS Vendors
VAS Vendors receiving your personal data are independent data processors for the purpose of fulfilling your VAS request. They are responsible for:
- secure handling of your personal data,
- service delivery quality,
- issuing their independent reports,
- addressing complaints, and
- complying with applicable laws.
HHFL is not responsible or liable for the data‑handling practices of VAS Vendors.
